WHY THIS MATTERS in UTAH
Utah’s high civic engagement—evidenced by above-average higher education rates, voter turnout, volunteerism, and community involvement—coexists with a gap in democratic infrastructure and limited trusted sources for truly solutions-focused information. Much of the news reports on high-level legislative developments without diving deeply into the “how” and “why” of policy fixes, leaving residents unsure where to turn for in-depth analysis. At the same time, the surge in explainer newsletters, podcasts, and long-form platforms like Substack highlights a growing public appetite for transparency, substance, and practical policy solutions—far beyond partisan bickering. This frustration with extreme partisanship and reliance on quick takes underscores the need for a well-organized, policy-centric PAC in Utah, where change can happen quickly at the state level. By centering on collaborative, evidence-based solutions rather than mere headlines, Jen Dailey-Provost’s respected reputation can galvanize citizens, experts, and activists who crave meaningful engagement, proving that genuine innovation and education can emerge through a deliberate, solutions-oriented approach to Utah’s legislative and political ecosystem.
